Well, 130.000km and not a single fault is pretty good in my case. The only thing that ticks me off is that the "rubberized" coating on the radio buttons and knobs is rubbing off, as well as on the headlamp knob.
0hey hey... I got 130.000km something on the clock too!
Probably not the original km but it's clocking that value...
Ok, not only is your car old it has quite a few KMs on it... Things fail on cars, especially old ones. Anywho, thinking of a new car? Get an Audi, I have lot's of KMs on mine (it's an '04) and it has never ever let me down.
sorry for being totally off topic
well not really since we're tlaking about things breaking down
which audi do u have Bolanos?
i heard audis are not quite reliable
from first hand accounts and i wish they werent troo![]()
1063Judging from everyone's responses, I guess the proper term here is "fuck automobiles"!
And my American made Pontiac is working beautifully. *knock on wood*
lol, holden
D:
'03 A4 1.8t multitronic. Seriosly, my uncle has had 2 perfect Audi's before, his wife aswell (i think she's on her 3rd one)
dunno why, but my dad's friend (takes perfect care of his cars), just happens to have this audi a4, i think its either 04 or 05 2.0 turbo
the turbo keeps breaking and causing trouble and hes already had to have it fix 3 times
and finally he just gave up and sold it
and my dad said audis always have tiny issues here and there when he owned one so i was just wondering![]()
Tiny issues, sure, but never so big as to have to bring the car in out of schedule... Little creaks and moans, and once the tranny felt too much like a slipping clutch, they solved everything at most in 2 days. I'd never give up my car, I just LOVE the Turbo rush, well, i'd give it up for anothe Audi, but I don't like the B7s, i wait for the B8s
except tiny issues cost a lot here since we're not in europe so parts can be rather expensive, even for tiny things
I live in Costa Rica, if you want to talk about expensive service, gas, taxes, insurance, etc be my guest. I´m almost certain I´ll pay more in 80% of the circumstances
maintenance cost quite a bit over there?
A lot, and lot's of parts get changed before you would expect. Our streets look like the moon surface. I've even had to buy 2 new rims for the car, busted on a pothole...
The dealer is fine, it's just freaking expensive!
yeh thats a factor to consider too :X
All those problems, which affect the whole automotive market, give me an interrogation: how will be the used cars market in 5/10 years?![]()
^inexistant
due to faulty electronics, no cars will be able to drive then
