Same car (though never got to push it through a corner) 356whp LS1 Mazda RX-7.
Best that I've actually got a chance to drive hard in a corner is a 318is or my miata (I haven't driven it with sticky tires yet).

Cadillac CTS, first gen, V6 version for both categories. I don't think I've driven anything with more than 300 horsepower.

1. Probably my brothers tuned Sierra Cosworth with~300bhp. My bike would be the fastest if it wasn't restricted.
2. Again my brothers. Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 Terzo.

A friend of mine had one of those with added boost, I want one very badly. Definitely the fastest car I've been in, but I've only driven four vehicles, and my current one answers both questions.

Fastest thing I've ever driven was a custom twin-turboed Kawasaki ZX-11D. It could, would, and did easily crack 235.
Fastest car I've ever driven was probably an ex-Motorola Cup Viper race car, but I didn't get a chance to open it up and it would have been very imprudent to do so. Fun to drive it around the track even at low speeds, though.

a coworker's friend's '01 Porsche Boxster.
The friend was trying to sell it and was out of town for a few weeks, so my coworker was driving it around (with "for sale" signs in the windows). I got to tool around in it during my lunch hour for a few days. It was a blast and I still want one (this happened 2 yrs. ago).

Haven't driven too many fast cars, maybe a 13 sec GTI? 13 sec eclipse? My Suzuki 600?
Best handling car definitely would have to be this:

1) Bentley Continental GT...i got upto around 70 in the car on the highway and the car was just idling. It was tempting to go all out but the owner was sitting next to me and he had just picked up the car a day ago
![]() 2) Birel Shifterkart (haha beat that )...it was practice at the track and one of the guys let me around the track in his shifter, it was definitely faster then my ICA at the time

Fastest vehicle in a straight line: An old Gixxer 1100 that put down ~210hp to the wheel.
Fastest vehicle in the corners: My old 2003 Aprilia RSV Mille R Haga SBK replica (would still have it if it didn't get stolen in '06). Fastest car in a straight line: an old roommate's 7XXwhp terminator Cobra (Whipple supercharged). Fastest car in the corners: Probably my Z06 with my old e46 M3 being a close second.

2004 Mustang Cobra with intake/exhaust/pulley/tune 460whp
2008 Shelby GT500 (stock) 2003 Mustang Mach 1 (stock) The Terminator is probably actually better in the corners then my civic, but my civic is much lighter so it feels better. Ridden in a separate 2004 Cobra at 160mph. Thats a rush.
