Car: 93-NA . Mariner Blue Rep Power: 0 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^ yes.... because im winning the lottery this week Im getting a very low miliage 93 miata. getting a built engine from flyinmiata.com 800lb springs and their turbo...good for around 250hp on the built engine no problem... 200hp is good on stock engine and going back to my house in FL and doin trackdays....everymotherfucking day till i die... ![]() edit: I had to go to work so I didnt look to hard. but I guess it will be very easy to fix. and Im pretty sure im keeping my bumper.. I dont mind a few scrapes on it. I also want to keep the bumper lights, I will dremel out the bits that didnt break, and put a grill on it (metal grill mesh). Ive been wanting to do that, but didnt have the heart to dremel out a nice unbroken light housing. the hood should be easy to bend back, but I will just take it from the other car. the only part im not sure about, is where the hood latches. if that part is easy to take off, then fixing everything wont take more than a hour or 2. doesnt matter if its tough to fix though...because like I said, Im wining the lottery this week.. ps. thanks for the tire comment!! too bad its so damn cold and they grip like...well...they dont grip at all. lol cant wait till the weather warms up a bit so I can finally get some nice grip from them. whats funny about crashing today is that, a few days ago, I got cought in a snowstorm with these tires... and I know it was very very very very stupid, but instead of gonig home, I drove untill the snow stopped and the trucks cleaned out the streets (took around 5hours for that to happen) I was sideways everywhere. including on the highway, going at 50mph. (not just a slide then recovering....it was going foward while the headlights pointed at the devider long enough to get to the next exit) all the damage I got from doing that really stupid stuff is a curb rash on the right wheel. miata in the snow with rt-615's is crazy...fun ![]() Last edited by llpc60; February 9th, 2007 at 09:33 AM.. |

| February 7th 2007 - my first crash Light turned yellow, car in front of me started to brake for what I thought was turning at the intersection but she stopped for the yellow light, don't know why someone would do that. Was going about 10mph, it was raining and the streets were slick (first heavy rain in a while) When I hit the brakes I skidded into her Civic and my car went under her bumper. ![]() | |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Not my first but a bad one Sorry to here about your accidents. Stuff happens, we just need to be careful out there Here's mine from a few months back. I started the day a little spaced out to. Should have been a sign to avoid a canyon run with some friends. Still pretty lucky to walk away. Be careful out there guys and keep it shiny side up. 8) ![]() |

Car: 93-NA . Mariner Blue Rep Power: 0 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^ouch that was a nice s2000 ![]() and my car has been "fixed" and running for a few days now. I will get pics today (with celly, cant be bothered to take the 20D lol) although I cant really put my headlights down... and the hood and bumper overlap... its good enough for me to drive it and its all I care. I need my crack ![]() me/dad fixed it ourselfs (think of chain tied to mine/other car heheh) and the lady still hasnt called the insurance company. maybe she wont at all. so my cars working and I probably wont have to pay for the one I hit...awesome. I have even been stopped after the crash for "driving a little crazy". I didnt see a cop and gunned it on the entrance of an offramp "you went FLYING past me!!!!" then to make shit worse, I gunned it on the next off-ramp "I know you were doing more than 30" (I was doing 60 in the middle of the bend) then he adds "..I know this car handles pretty well.." so I didnt say anything and he asked "right?" I wanted to play dumb so I said "...yea...it handles ok.." lol..I was holding in laughter no ticket...no warning... : |

| My cars estimate to be repaired was 4500, insurance will only pay for 2800...so the car is on its way to the auction yard for parts as of this morning and I get to go buy a used car If I fixed it, it would have cost as much as just going out and buying a similar used car plus the 'new' car won't have a salvaged title. The insurance company will only give me 2100 if we had the car salvaged. I'm going to get either a similar size sedan or small pick up, useful for college and moving all of my stuff. | |
