Anyone else but me who really likes the new sporting Panda? The 100HP.
![]() ![]() Good to see a manufacturer who still can build a proper GTI. One that doens't need 220 bhp to be fun to drive. Looks great too! Prices start at £9995 which is superb. EVO also loved it and claimed it was the best small car they've driven in a very long time. If I would buy a new small car today this would be the one. I will have to testdrive one. Also the Grande Punto Abarth is about to be released which has the potential to be a great car as well.

I've always liked Fiats, weve owned about 5 in my family and they are great small cars. This new one looks great, the interior is very civic type-r with the stick in the dash. I must admit I still prefer the new punto exterior, I think that a great looking thing.
![]() But the new panda is great and the top gear survey putting it in the top 10 is brilliant news, I hope this is the turning point for Fiat. |

If I had the money and they bring it to Finland I would buy a Grande Punto Abarth over a Golf GTI... I am not joking it looks great and a bit of sportyness never hurts. ![]() I really hope Fiat finds their way again. Stop making Stilo. Improve the back of normal Punto. It looks rubbish. The coming Bravo looked good. ![]() I don't know what to say about Fiat Panda... it looks ok, better than the Stilo atleast. I've only seen one here where I live. I guess I don't quite see how it fits between the Punto and Grande Punto.

That car looks great, and they say it goes great. I've always been a fan of small cars. I really like that Panda, and it's not becouse I drive a Punto. I hope TG will test it soon! I think Fiat is headed in the right direction! The new Bravo looks amazing!! Good thing the Italians didn't sell to the Americans! |

A shame because they have built som great cars through the years. So Abarth is not a FIAT synonym for 4WD.

Is the Grande Punto Abarth 4WD? Not asking if Abarth is making only 4WD cars. I want to know if the Grande Punto Abarth that will be available for the public to buy will be 4WD like the Rally car. |

I cannot imagine that the Punto Abarth will be available with 4WD. In fact, I cannot remember one Abarth Fiat that is 4WD at all.
1.4 litre engine and 150hp pretty much sound like FWD imo. |

I love the Panda 100hp. Test drove one last week...it's brilliant. Sadly won't be able to buy it as I don't have the cash.
EVO magazine have declared it their new 'hero' car in the "supermini/city car" group. They love it too

So, there you have it, there's a 4WD Grande Punto, but it's not the one you'll see in the showrooms. About the Fiat Panda, I can see why James May bought one. I haven't driven one, but I liked it since the new one came out. And this hot version is just crazy. It was about time Fiat went back to doing small hot cars like the old Uno Turbo. As a side note, I can't wait to see what Abarth does with the new 500

I have a soft spot for Pandas (actually, I have a soft spot for FIAT....but anyway). And yes, I also really like the Panda Sporting. I would be just ecstatic with joy if they sold this little car here, but unfortunately I think this will never happen.
We, as a family, already owned 12 fiats (5 Tipos, 1 Brava, 1 Marea Estate, 2 Palios and 3 Unos). Nowadays we have 2 Palios.

My only experience with a Fiat was in 2004 when I rented a car in the UK. I was hoping to get a Focus (as it was listes on the Hertz website) but what I got was a 5-door Stilo. I was not too happy when I was handed the papers. That quickly changed on the 1st few metres (also the first metres in a RHD). The handling was great and the engine felt really sporty. It was a 1.6l with 105 bhp if my memory serves me right. Over all I just loved the csr and since then I like moste modern Fiats, the Grande Punto looks like a shrinked Maserati and the Panda makes much more sense than the A-Class for example (the interior looks much better either). So the Panda 100 must be great, too.

That Panda 100HP looks fantastic! Be sweet if they brought it over here (we have the Punto)... also be cool if we get the Abarth.
Mind you, the Punto is damn expensive for how small the car and what you get in it, that's one of the few criticisms the local press give it. |

Is it better than the punto, my dad hired one when he was in germany and hated it because it was too damn slow.
