Basic idea of this thread is: If you need to find a certain rim, you ask here and we'll help you find it. This thread is suggestion friendly - If you need examples of rims that would work well on your car, or suggestions for what rims you should get... Feel free to post here.
I'm looking for: Rims like the Porsche Cayenne GTS and the Audi R8 Le Mans car. Ever seen Truth in 24? ![]() ![]() I'm looking for something that looks kinda like that. Standard, no diamond cut/machining or smoking/anodizing, with raised spokes that run flat, and don't curve upwards towards the lip of the rim. Instead, they're parallel with the lip of the rim, until you get to the center, where it drops off into the five-bolt area. EDIT: Pardon the poor description. I'm not feeling very eloquent, lucid, or left-brained right now. I'd rather draw it.

Superturismos are classic wheels. They don't suit every car, but on some cars they look excellent.

^They look like Ronal R9s - which were very popular in the 1980s.
EDIT: I take that back - you said that they were made by American Racing Equipment. I think that they are AR#223 wheels - which were used on a lot of Saleen Mustangs. I have a picture of a special black and white Saleen built for the Seal Beach, CA Police Department that uses wheels that are identical to yours. Those wheels are no longer in production and may be worth a pretty penny for someone restoring a Saleen.

Would the OP mind if this was also used as a "help me find the right rim for this car?" as in "I'm shopping for rims...suggestions for my car"?

Borbet LS is a bit cheaper option, with similar looks.

I'm seriously planning to get those for my Focus. I love the rims from the new RS but they are too big for a normal Focus (without bigger wheel arches) and it would look ridiculous. And the OZ Superturismo GT's just seem to fit in perfectly

Interesting idea.
This one is purely an exercise since I'm broke, but I would love to get a set of steelies for my 2006 X-Terra. I want to have a set of off road tires for grip and a set of on-road tires for long life. The difficulty: From what I've been able to gleen from my X-Terra forum, there aren't any steelies that fit the 2005-present X-Terra. Apparently the brakes are too big or something. If FG can help find some basic steelies, I would really appreciate it - and so would a bunch of other X-Terra owners.
