Found a dejected Reliant Robin collection in Maine, US.

Before I saw this group of strangely abandoned Reliant Regals and Robins beside an old factory in central Maine, I wasn't sure if they imported them into the US, but I could be wrong. Whether it was offical or a person brought them over, they are all just sitting beside the road, no for sale signs or houses nearby. I had the nerve to walk down and take some photos of them, and try to figure out why they were there. I don't know if they are still there, but if you are travelling west of Bangor, Maine, be on the lookout.

Ok.
Imagine five people in an Reliant,new at the time, driving along the motorway.
It's very windy.
Reliant takes off.
and on that flimsy fibreglass bomb, landed on its roof.
The end. It was pretty bad as he always drove it like it was a motorbike.

5 in a Robin - damn that's brave. If you go around a corner a bit fast you can make friends with the tarmac rather quickly too.

Well yeah, but when other cars are just tipped over they end up all smashed and with broken windows. The only damage I saw on that Reliant was a broken side mirror and loose hood/bonnet. Who needs crumple zones when your car just rolls around? images/smilies/lol.gif
