Just an idea I had whilst playing around with my scanner. This is only really homemade as much as I haven't seen it on the internet as I scanned it from a magazine, but I thought it'd be a nice way to start things off.

I was looking around the internet and I realised there aren't enough decent pics of classic cars, so I thought I'd try making one, this is all I could come up with:

Alvis TA14 'Duncan'

Anyway, thought I'd post it here in case anyone was interested. Doesn't fit my desktop background, too small images/smilies/sad.gif

So, just made this thread in case you'd taken some good pics or found a good photo in a mag that you think would make a decent desktop background. The larger the resolution the better imo. This was just a bit fo a lousy start images/smilies/blush.gif

I made a vertical desktop background out of a photo I took of a Ferrari logo.
Right now it's 1050px high, so it only fits widescreen 1680x1050 monitors, but I'm
sure most of you know how to rescale. (PS: Best viewed with black desktop background,
centered in the middle)

No, not really. I'm just really getting into older cars, I read Classics Monthly constantly now, so I thought it'd be nice to get my desktop background to reflect this. Thus far, I haven't been doing too great! lol

what dashboard is that btw? some sort of T Midget?

I'm not 100% sure - I was so overwhelmed by the whole show that I didn't pay any attention to the cars I took the photos of, but I could figure out that it has to be a MG Magnette, probably Series B.
