Rep Power: 0 ![]() | if you had a time machine and was able to travel back to any era to do something relating to motorsports or cars, what year(s) would yo ugo to and why? maybe you want to see a certain race or drive/buy a certain car or maybe you wish you hadn't sold that BMW, whatever it may be. For me, It would be somwhere in the mid 1970's so I could see the great legendary f1 drivers and races before it was all restricted becasue of safety. I also would want to witness the great Audi S1 and the other Group B rally monsters |

Car: RX-7, Jeep Cherokee Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I would go in time and bet on a huge race, then invest the money in a company that is doing awesome right now(or buy a bond that matures about now), and then come back to the future and cash out. |

| I would go back in time when Michael Schumacher(sp?) was a teenager and convince him not to go into racing when he'll be older, just to see if his brother would still go the racing route ... ![]() | |

| I'd love to go back and convince Ayrton Senna to not race on that day. He was considering it but didn't want to look like he was stepping down to the rising Michael Schumacher. I'd loved to see a Prost vs. Senna vs. Schumacher vs. Hakkinen battle in the 90's.

| Square with a title | I'd like to make friends w/ Enzo Ferrari a year before he started racing eventually become a huge investor in his cars, then leave to the future, faking my death and having me(in the future...present) claim my millions and a place on the Ferrari throne as the long lost heir to his great, missing companion Cerruti for which i'd probably have a car or two named after me too. Or i could convince him to race before he convinced himself to race, and at least have a car named after me. |

| I would buy all Van Gogh's paintings for $100 and sell each for over $80 Million. Whoa, I just realized I'm such a bad person. ![]()

| I would commision a custom vehicle from Bugatti or one of the great coachbuilders, then store it away for, oh, 70 or so years. Then buy about 20 Hemi 'Cudas and do the same. They're worth a million or so these days! Then I'd go watch an F1 race at the 'Ring in 1967. And load up on souvenirs. Man, this is a good topic. Now I can't stop fantasizing... ![]() | |
