| Another crap thread by BlaRo... Convertibles have usually had the hairdresser/homosexual/midlife crisis/blonde stigma attached to them. Anybody who buys a Miata*, Porsche Boxster (see Richard Porter's column in last month's EVO), Z4, TT, etc. has always been seen as falling into one of these categories, as the stereotype goes. It's a shame too; most of them are great cars, they just have a bad image, much like the Seriously Uncool cars (and their famous owners). Yet there's a rare percentage of convertibles that don't fall under these categories. They're seen as hairy-chested sleds that wouldn't look awkward if they were commandeered by big, beefy guys who enjoy belching in public and chugging raw steaks with their hands. S2000, Viper, SVT Mustang, etc. What do you think is the manliest convertbile out there? ![]() ![]() *The first-gen NA Miatas were cool, dammit! C'mon, let's go Spec Miata racing! | |

| I can't say I'd disagree with any of the vintage American muscle. All definitely manly convertibles.
