I thought I'd post some of my latest findings all in one post to keep it clean.
I'm not going to write about the specs of any of these cars because not
all of my sources are reliable. But if anyone wants to know what I've read
about a car just ask. And I'm not gonna post obvieus photoshops. Spyshots all the way!
Some of these may be reposts but then just scroll along and shut up







Ferrari 600 Imola


INFO: In the Imola, the engine is expected to develop about 600 horsepower. Sources in Europe say the new car is longer and wider, with a larger cabin and more cargo space.
The 600 Imola will feature aluminum body panels on a lightweight space-frame chassis and will borrow liberally from the architecture of the 612 Scaglietti. Designed by Pininfarina, the Imola will add an open Barchetta variant in 2007-08.

Aston Martin DBR9 finally some real pics

INFO: The panels are hand made from carbon-fibre composite, helping the car to meet its 1,100kg minimum weight and giving it a power to weight ratio of 550bhp per tonne - more than double that of the road car.

i must say im dissapointed with Ferrari's new styling. The 612 isnt ugly but it isnt a masterpiece. THEN they decide to make the car again with a diff engine and call it a 600 imola?? COMON its the same fuckin car!!!!

on the other hand Aston's new styling and cars are great British masterpieces that have put the auto maker on par with Porsche and Ferrari. Sure the Porsce or Ferrari might be slighty faster than an Aston but the looks make up for it big time! All astons are beautiful and you Brits should be proud. Ferrari should take note

Totally agree. I hated that ugly hatchback standard edition when I first saw it.
But these little improvements on the RS version does a lot for the car.

About that WRC spoiler I suppose it's just for keeping the car from flying. So then
it's ok that's it's really ugly

i dont think anyone would. i just cant believe this kinda styling is coming from pinninfarina. more so this is ridiculously close to the 612.

an aston DB9 or vanquish is looking damn good now

Wow, dude, you don't know what style is. this imola is the best looking ferrari ever, it's perfected in many ways, the saw the flaws of the previous models and made this one perfect.

OH you wanna talk about Aston? That looks like a squashed turd. the aston is too standard, they made like 5 different cars and they all look the same...

the lack of design bothers me, it's not even a real car, you can see on a ferrari it has been designed, not copied from a previous "good" model...

the new Imola looks like the 612!! the 575 was waaayyy better looking and was the most beautiful GT until the DB9.

Sure there are similarities with the Astons but they have slight differences that are recognizable. The vanquish is the mightiest brute looking one, the DB9 is the elegant timeless perfect looking one and the new AMV8 is the small 911 carrera rival.

they all look similar but have their own "personalities" which cannot be said for the new 612 and imola.

the 456 looked better but still cant be placed next to the DB9.

Dead serious, you wanna know why that imola has some similarties with the 612? Because that 612 was stunning! novices dont buy these cars. novices arent into cars. even rappers and celebs would see the styling differences in cars like the DB9 and vanquish. they will also notice the OBVIOUS similarity between the 612 and 612 part 2 (600 imola)

Look the Astons are conservative looking, maybe just the DB9. They dont need to be outlandish to be beautiful. Atleast the Aston dont look like it has a big smile grille on its front.

I like ferraris but the 612 and imola are the wrong way to go.

Right... I'm siding with Justin on this one, the Ferrari not only looks too much like the 612 but it's also WAAAYYYY too happy (you ever seen a funny looking fella grinning wildly on the street? you keep your distance don't you?)

And the Aston V8, what can I say? (wipes mouth, copious leakage from the larger hole in the lower half of the face...)

I think the 600 Imola looks OK, but I would have expected more from Ferrari,
a bit more daring perhaps. Even though as it is it looks stylish, but gentle.

I'm afraid to say I don't reeeaally like the front of the DB9 even though it's a
really good car. I don't want to drive a fish, do you? The DBR9 looks awesome..

Eh, I really don't like the 612 Scaglietti styling. It's.... I think the front is a bit ugly actually. Something about the headlamps and the way the hood scoops down... really messes me up. Now the new 575M, delicious. Especially the back of the 575M.
