It's because it's revolting against you for making it an automatic.

Its a 6 speed manual - they put the same cluster in every car.
Yea, its still under warranty, but its really annoying that something like this has already cropped up.

I wouldn't be concerned if it's on warranty. Just take it in, it shouldn't cost you a thing

The blackened out display? That sucks.. but you did mention it's still under warranty, so it's not all that bad, eh?

I know it will be covered, but how many days will I have to drive a Chevy Colbalt while they figure out what is wrong and fix it? Plus the time and inconvienience of having to take it in in the first place. |

And gtrietsc, that's not cool but thank God it's under warranty. Could just be some dodgy wiring or perhaps a software issue

No big problem, thankfully, just a minor annoyance. At least the roof didn't fall off/the panels didn't rust off/the head gaskets didn't explode/the rabid chipmunks didn't escape from the trunk and raped and slaughtered your family because all American cars are equipped with them these days.

![]() Well I did, and watch out...this is a once-in-a-lifetime epic event. Like a non-shitty Lifetime movie. Oh wait, that's impossible.

Pwwt... Drop it off at the dealer, an hour of labor later you're fine.
Compared to my A4... I havent driven that car for a month now. New throttle body CV axle Rotors + Pads 2 bits of suspension thats connected to the control arms Valve Cover seals The only thing keeping me from driving my car right now is the ECU, I had to get a new one, but after replacement, everything runs fine but the glaring check engine light that says there is a bad TCU/ ECU connection somewhere
