New Skoda Superb

I think the front looks Superb (yeah yeah, bad joke), but the rear... Hmmm, not much effort into it. Profile is at least different than any other car I recall.

I dunno...it looks like a Lincoln Zephyr from the rear, and Chrysler Sebring-ish from the from images/smilies/wacko.gif

I don't think it's a bad looking car, but it's not great either. The most I can say for it is that it's unremarkable and unoffensive. It just seems like it should be in a plain white wrapper labeled, "CAR"

I'm gonna be honest I've always liked the way Skoda's looked.

This looks too much like a current gen Passat, though. I feel like if you're going to update a car make it look like something new, not something that has been around for two years already.

I think it's supposed to look a bit plain because these cars are usually bought by very sensible and conservative old people who don't want attention drawn to them.

yeah, they look nothing alike. the Mondeo has more of a coupe styling. the Superb just looks like a sedan.

Plain and generic - and where they've tried to add some styling 'flair' (like the headlight shape) it fails imho and adds a little dose of ugly to that blandness.

I swore when I saw the pic that it was a Laguna, not Skoda. I had to resize the pic to check the badge images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Yes! Thank you! I just couldn't remember where I've seen that rear before, it's been bugging me hours! (well, minutes, but you get the point).

I don't understand why so many go for the really-big-empty-flat-areas on the back. It looks awful. Get some details in there goddammit! Mondeo pulled it off very nicely.
