It would look better still if it was curved down a bit and forward at the tips. You can still generate the same amount of downforce if you go at it correctly and have the proper software to emulate air flow (which they surely must have, they're German).

If it is indeed an FIA GT3 R8, then there are usually quite a lot of rules about wing sizes/positions/shapes. They have to obey the rules otherwise they can't race it! images/smilies/tongue.gif

I reckon it's same to assume they know what they're doing, and this is the most efficient shape for them given whatever restrictions / regulations they're having to work within.

To me, I think the road-going R8 looks like they took a race-car and took half the race-specific bodykit off. Then just left it.

But in full race trim, nyessss......it looks better.
