Back to the Zafira discussion.

The Opel Zafira OPC did the nordschleife in 8:54.38m. Manuel Reuter (ex-DTM driver) was at the wheel. Opel is now the record holder for this type of vehicle in this circuit.

Curious to see how the Ford S-Max gets round [the Focus ST-engined one].

Oh BTW the zafira OPC doesn't have 200bhp but 240bhp and the "IDS plus" chassis so it's not a normal MPV , I drove a Zafira sport with only the IDS chassis(optional) and found it very impressive so the OPC must be something no surprise it got the record!

bad idea to go on the ring with the clio v6 especially when it's wet. images/smilies/wacko.gif
Already one V6 crashed there this last summer.

I was thinking the driver was either very brave, or very foolish (or had plenty of spare pairs of underwear...)

When stopping to help at the scene of an accident at the ring, make sure you place your handbrake on - and try not to hit one of the marshall's cars..... images/smilies/smile.gif
