when there´s snow on the ring you can actually rent quads to go round the track... some people also like to bring sleds and blast down into the fuchsröhre images/smilies/mrgreen.gif

I don't know about the 'ring cam but there's definitely widgets and apps out there that allow you to put a webcam on your desktop.

If you have MacOS X or Windows Vista you can find some widgets that do that for you... I use SlothCam on my Mac. You just input the URL of the picture and tell it how often to update.

It seems that site isn't putting the camp up while the Ring is closed. If you follow the link to the archive (8200rpm or something like that), then you can still see the cam.
