Pacific International Auto Show 2006 - Vancouver

Figured I might as well start a thread to post relevant info and pictures. The show starts Friday the 31st, and goes till March 9th. I know I'm going; how about the rest of you Vancouverites?
I'm gonna try to get a press pass somehow...maybe talk to the school newspaper, see if they'll fill out the form if I agree to take pictures and do a short writeup...

they had an S550 and only one AMG Merc as i recall, CLS 55

Seems that lighting is not the best for photography.

I went yesterday, didn't bother taking a camera, so I don't have any photos. I did take a few with my phone, but since vexor's uploaded a lot I don't think I'll bother.

My favourite car was actually the Murcielago Roadster... it looked awesome. When I was there they had the engine cover open as well. images/smilies/smile.gif

I also liked the Audi RS/S models, nice cars, but really not noticed by a lot of the people who were there... I like that.

I was dissapointed not to see the cars that Salar mentioned, especially the F430. Bringing out a 360 just doesn't cut it... images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

In the display they had a Quattroporte and a 360. On the way home I saw a Quattroporte and an F430. I don't pay to go to a car show to see cars that aren't as good as the ones I see driving around the streets. images/smilies/mad.gif

I also saw a new M roadster on the way home, first one that I've seen.

Anyway, enough ranting. It was a great day. images/smilies/smile.gif
