Seriously, though, if somebody offers to install your new kit for $250, run the hell away.

That's just horrible, truly horrbile!
![]() Even one with no knowledge how to put on a bodykit whatsoever would easily do a better job than that. That's almost a write-off.

I had a look at the photos.
I really feel sorry for the guy. It seemed like a clean stock car.

And to think I'm about to hire this guy to do a similar job to my car. Now I'm afraid of the outcome.

In the thread the car's owner said the kit was being installed to replace a damaged factory one. Whether or not that's the case I don't know but I hope it's true. I'm usually not a fan of body kits but this one would have looked very nice if it had been installed properly.
Moral of the story: Never pay for or sign off on any work to your car until you're 100% satisfied with the job.

Solberg Top Tip - Never ever, not matter what, let your car out of your sight when it's having work done on it.

I feel bad for the guy, but he get's what he pays for it's a shame the painter who did this wrecked a few other 350z's.

Its a shame, I think the bodykit in it self looked good, but the job was obviously done horribly wrong. I guess when something sounds too good too be true (price-vice), it is in fact that... I can't be bothered to read the whole thread, how did they solve it in the end?

Wow... I'm astonished that somebody can actually deliver such a huge frak up like that to a customer and sleep at night.

Not really, he must have insurance, so he can be back in business in no time. The only solution is pain, and lots of it, hang him like a punching bag from the roof beam and go at it, bare knuckles, elbows and knees will make him think twice before doing such a mediocre job again!

The way I see it, the customer is partly responsible himself for getting into this situation, by signing the work even though cosmetic errors were found.

wow. how can anyone who has a conscience do that... I can do a better job than that... That's gonna cost a thousand dollars or more just to fix. Seriously though, how could the owner pay up front.... I would have walked out the door, the moment nothing was done and was overdue. This mike guy talks like a child as well..
