    super + turbo = "twincharged"

There's lots of twincharged car, normal ones, not high end turner cars. It's a fairly standard procedure like installing a turbo, but you put in a SC too. The result is low end torque and high end revs/torque. The downside is you lose a bit of efficiency on both ends (a little less low end SC power and less top end revs because of the SC). Fairly standard yes, but not easy by any means.

Supercharged does not necessarily mean more torque than a turbo low down.

Here is recent Dyno overlay of the same 5.7litre LS1 powered car with his old 7psi Vortech Supercharger vs his new 7psi SINGLE Turbo setup.

Same peak top end power, but HEAPS more torque from idle!

If you rephrase the question to "Can Superchargers have bov's?" then my answer would be "Yes, if you want them to".

I would guess and say that they generally run quite low boost which is why most don't.

a turbo does have a BOV becaus it keeps spinning after the engine has decellerated. but since a supercharger is propelled by a belt connected to the engine, this problem doesn't arrise
