ok...not much time....but the new Fore Mustang advert has a CGI Steve McQueen giving the "new" Mustang his aproval...

what a crock of shit...so the guy drove a '67 fastback in Bullet....ha also drove a 64 911 in LeMans....are we going to see him driving a boxster S nest...NO! why? because Porsche has respect for the memory of dead heros!

^ Ford actually filmed that commercial in my hometown (Chilliwack, BC, Canada) in a corn field about 2 minutes from my house. It was a pretty big event as our town has only about 60,000 people.

I still don't like the commericial though. images/smilies/tongue.gif images/smilies/lol.gif

That wasn't the first time. Ford did a similar Bullitt car chase TV ad using McQueen to pitch the Euro-market Ford Puma.

Really, a disrespect to McQueen. images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

It wasn't a CGI McQueen, it was really him from the movie. They just super-imposed him.

All this fuss about Steave McQueen, they should put me in their commercials. Now that be REALY COOL 8) j/k

I think that they didn't ment to dissrespect anyone, just trying to make the car look good, that's all.
