GM needs to hire the Road & Track computer-art guys. This was THEIR concept of the new STS before it was released:

That would be a really cool commercial IF:

- it was another car.
- some other music, perhaps "enjoy the silence" ? (haha)
- a different voiceover. stupid american trying to sound tough...

It's so funny though, I'm quite enjoying the look of nice black german cars
in a nicely syncronized thingy. And all of a sudden this hideous Cadillac crap
appears, accompanied by silly music and a silly man. Way to go Cadillac! images/smilies/bangin.gif

They are trying to get younger buyers into these STS cars but I saw one on the road a few months ago. Let me tell you, they weren't under 60 images/smilies/wink.gif

The average buyer of a Cadillac is still 60+, even with the Escalade and its relatively "young" average buyer...56.

=\ Am i the only guy that actually like the new caddy.. and no i am not over 60 or have i liked Caddy of the past. I am a stickly Euro guy, and even if i go for American i come from a Ford family so i am suppose to be born to hate everything GM.
But i got a nice, and long test drive with a CTS-V a while back. With the new look BMW is going, its a good thing they still drive very good otherwise it would be turd on wheels. And even then, the amount of torque of that LS6 is just ungoddly. And the way it drives, is its very much like the old/current M5. You feel connected to the road, and in the bends there is very little roll and just grip. Something you dont expect from a Caddy, or most cars actually. I just think this car can stand any of the current Euro saloon. The Engine is something totally different, as its a 5.7l with only 400hp but the way it delivers it is just so nice that you think in normal day to day driving this car would be great. No need redlining this car at very stop light. And the inside is actually a lot better then the standard CTS since they gave it a more CF/Sporty look which makes it look very nice. The 6-speed was good, still stiff clutch butnothing that would kill me.
Sorry for the rant, but i cant get the CTS-V out of my head after driving one. I was almost ready to hand over the keys to the Jag and take payment on the rest of the car as i loved it that much. if it was not for the fact i had an order for my Harley i would have done it.
As for the STS, its a nice car.. I like the look actually. I sat in a fully loaded version at the dealer. The inside is no Euro/Brit. No dipping in leather type of thing, but i liked it. The Sound system was great, and the inside was "manly". I just think if you have a chance to take a look at the new Caddy, it will change your mind about them.
