Hell no. Riding on rock hard pilot powers on slush isn't my definition of "a good day out".

Sliding around in the car is fun enough.

I am currently not in Munich, but in Hilden, NRW. There was some heavy snowfall here a week ago with 20cm of new snow and now it's all slushy.
Don't know how the weather is in munich but as I will be driving back tomorrow I will see for myself.

Two of the guys I work with have multiple harleys and ride into work probably 2/3s of the year. They were still riding in as late as thanksgiving when it was cold but no snow or ice. We have been getting repeated snow and ice storms for the past few weeks so no riding now.

Amazingly enough as often as they ride their Harleys they haven't had any major breakdowns on any of them.

You would think after 100 or so years building the same basic engine they'd eventually get it right. The Evo and the TwinCam V-Twins are great engines, for what they are, stone axe technology in a laser scalpel world...

This caught my eye:

I should know better than to lust after a Guzzi, since my 750 Breva broke my heart within three days of buying it in 2004...

^ Me too, and a friend of mine has a super nice orange-and-white T100 that he has tastefully customized. So as much as I like the new Bonnies, I'd have to get something different from him (not that I'll be buying for a couple of years anyway, and when I do it'll probably be an FJR1300).

That's probably worth a lot more than just $2500. Don't let the seller know, however. images/smilies/wink.gif

Here's the Flickr slideshow in case that link goes down.
