Also see if you can find a breath deflector that fits your helmet if yours doesn't already have it.

Yeah one of my helmets has one of those, a little bit of rubber that clips on between the helmet and nose/cheeks. But my nose is too big, making it uncomfortable.
A good anti-fog would be your best bet. Are some now able to be used as beading agents too (like Rain-X)? Another option is a pollution mask. When I first started riding in Tokyo it was full of diesels spewing masses of black smoke everywhere so I bought a pollution mask. Its made basically of wetsuit material with a filter and a couple of valves, helps reduce fogging too. Actually I just checked the site and they have a mask specifically for fog now. http://www.respro.com/products/urban...ng/foggy_mask/ This is a different mask;

Those face masks always make you look like Hannibal Lector but atleast that one stays in the helmet.

It's been three seasons since I sold my 2005 Yamaha YZF-R6. I am so tempted to buy a one again. Somebody talk me out of it.

Been talking to this guy since yesterday and would probably take between 400 and 500 dollars for this bike. I offered him 500 and he has been pretty much hounding me to come down and look at it so I am sure I offered him the most. Anyone in the area looking for a bike might want to think about this one. My wife will kill me if I bring ANOTHER bike home. |

My crusty old 550 was in better shape than that and I nabbed it for less. I'd give him $200 on a good day. It helps if he has the rare sidecovers, which are the first to get dinged up and tossed; otherwise, that guy's definitely smoking the Crack Pipe. |

He is missing the side covers and air box. Looks like the pips are all rusted up but hard to tell from those little pictures. |

ehh if it was abandoned for long enough the try could grow around it. I had a tree branch growing through the power lines running to my house last year. The guy that came out to fix it said it was only the second time in 30 years that he had seen something like that.

![]() ![]() Or maybe I should say: A Motocompo? Why, that's Madness! ![]() ![]() In other news, three weeks ago I made an error entering a curve, tried to correct my entry, and was thrown to the asphalt for my stupidity: ![]() I now have a sprained wrist, sprained ankle, broken big toe, and a compressed fracture of my upper tibia (just below the knee), which required surgery to install six screws and a plate. All on my left side. And yes, that was while wearing full battle gear. For those who have never been seriously injured in a bike crash (and this was my first), the first week was excruciating, pain-wise, and now I'm trying to get the motion and strength back in my left leg, while fighting the swelling in my ankle and foot with ice on the hour. Got the stitches removed Tuesday, and the doctor said it will be another 8-12 weeks before I can put weight on my left leg again. So I'm thinking, once I'm back on my feet and have the bike repaired, of selling the FZ6 and getting a Moto Guzzi Breva 1100, in black, with bags and the tall screen. Not unlike this one, though I tend to wear traffic-safety-yellow riding jackets: ![]() I'm quite a bit thinner than that chap, so my also-slim Asian girlfriend should fit between me and the tail trunk. In the meantime, I'll be rolling around my garage, fixing the FZ6 from my wheelchair.

Ever ridden a Guzzi? I'm curious if the torque-over is as bad as some people make it out to be. It certainly isn't a lightweight bike.
