Yay, the weather finally turned around and there was some sunshine! Yessss!
Went for a short tour on sunday to make the most of the weather - only an hour, but I was on my way back home from a friend, and thought "aww hell, just go for it!". images/smilies/biggrin.gif

So much fun to be just out on the road, sunshine, (relatively) warm and nowhere to go, so you can really just ride. images/smilies/smile.gif

Also cracked the 1111.1km mark on the odometer, yay. images/smilies/tongue.gif

But now I decided to let the bike rest a bit till thursday when I have the first inspection (to be done at 1000km, it already has about 1200 on the clock, so I don't want to put much more on till then).

And I cleaned it off a bit today to unwind after an exam, christ the dirty surely does go everywhere.

I got to sit on one of those, very nice looking bike in a crazy "I'm made out of razor blades and distilled insanity" kind of way, but I think it will have a really hard time beating the 1098R or 1198.

Goddammit, so I put in the effort to clean my bike up on tuesday, and guess what? Today, when I have to drive across town (about 11km) to get to the dealer for the inspection, it's pouring with rain. Sigh... images/smilies/dry.gif

I just got to sit on the VMax. Fucking comfortable bike! The ram-air scoops make the tank a little wide but I don't care.

Also, the guys at the shop tell me it's putting out closer to 200 bhp, they just list it as 180 to make it easier to insure or something.

Yeah, a test in a local bike magazine lists it with 200hp (German ps though, so a bit less than 200bhp).
