Default The Priory of Scion

I know the Gen. Auto. section is our most popular thread, and I don't wanna muck it up with polls. But I just wanted to see what this community's overall feelings are on the Scion xB. I think it's a great car for the money as far as practicality, roominess, dependability, and economy goes.... but what about the looks???

I just realized that some of you guys might not get the xB or any Scions in your country. So thanks to monkeymax, I'm including some pics.

http://www.dewhurstphoto.com/Gallery%20images/Thumbnails/XB%20Cutout%202aflat.jpg -xB
http://images.securedwebform.com/stock/300/scion/xa/2005/5ha.jpg -xA
http://images.securedwebform.com/stock/300/scion/tc/2005/3co.jpg -tC

Those are the 3 main cars, but I'm mostly just worried about the xB since it's the most.... well, different.

Sorry, I just think it's horrible. I can see where they're coming from but even the Transit Van has managed to make a rectangular vehicle look much nicer...

Here is my wife and her 2005 Scion xB, aka "the toaster". We love the car. Everything about it is Toyota quality, and it has a massive amount of room in it. My frined who is 6' 5" can sprawl in the backseat, and still have 8 inches of head room.

No, iirc, it was originally the Toyota bB...at least that's what it's called in Japan...

I'm kinda indifferent about it. Not a pretty car, and that bumper makes the front seem odd...like a chin that pokes out. Though it meets the demands of it's market segment. Maybe if it had that turbo V-8 like the one I had on Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 (I did it for shits and giggles) I'd consider it...

Crap I wish I could do two polls at once. Scion is trying to get the 18-35 male segment of the market, I'd love to see what our ages are as it pertains to the results so far.

Ah, sorry, I failed it. I'm up to my sinuses in final exams, work, and a head cold that has left me stuffed up. To say I'm in my right mind might be stretching it a bit. At least I don't have to spend 24 hours in the computer labs...yet...

I still think the notion of selling a 13" hubcapped 103hp box to children, with the idea of pimping 'em to death, is a terrible idea, just begging for the worst in Carbage. Then again, Toyota could sell a self-destructing fecal-smelling go-cart lined with HIV needles and decapitated babies, and it'd still sell 300,000 per year.

The tC isn't bad. But it's pretty heavy. And what the hell's the xA?
