The Top 5 Most Popular Cars.

Now by no means does this mean the "Best Cars Ever", but it's still somthing to be noted. They might not be winning any "Best New Artist" awards, but they've certainly won the "Lifetime Achievement" award.

The best selling car in Australia (overall) would have to be either the Falcon or the Commodore.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...cle_nameplates The Falcon is at #44, the Commodore at #49, but that's worldwide sales, not just Aussie ones.

Obviously not overall but in 2006, the Toyota is #1.

What? images/smilies/wacko.gif

People buy it, people buy it a lot, and enough people buy it to have earned it a spot on this list. How is that cheating? Oh wait, it's from America...

each one is a slight level up from the one below it. Its like for instance how there are so many 3-series variants over in Europe, from the 318d ES sedan to the M3 convertible.

They look pretty much the same to me. The only differences I can see in the two pics (third doesn't work for me) is that the first is a crew cab, and the second is a previous-gen extended cab dualie. If you're going to pick nits like this though, only the Model T and Beetle deserve to be on that list, since the current F-series, Corollas and Golfs share nothing with their predecessors except their names.
