No I am not. I am simply saying that despite not really liking Fords, I think the GT40 is in the top 10 cars of all time. And that I attribute most people's perception that it is a good looking car to the fact that we can relate its shape to our own human form.

Please understand, I am not saying that any car actually looks like a person (though I have met some people that look like trucks). My point is that the themes you can observe in the shapes of attractive looking cars evoke the shapes observed in humans.

BTW zenon, your obsession with 1970's Volvos is a real worry! I understand that modern counseling techniques can help sufferers such as yourself.

PS I breifly saw Vancouver from the bus on my way to Whistler in Feb. Interesting blend of European, American and Hong Kong influence. I 'll have to have a closer look next time.

^ I haven't seen it, but I've heard of it both because Billy Corgan (from Smashing Pumpkins\Zwan) plays a cameo role and did the music for it, and because a Volvo is in it. I found a list of Volvos in films once... I can't remember where, but I remember seeing that film listed. Maybe I'll have to check it out.

The only vid about a volvo I liked was the one from a discovery channel program about cars..forgot the name of it..it was an orange volvo 850 5 cil. turbo if I'm correct...the guy had totally tuned it, exterior all redone and I think he did something about the engine too...really nice sound!
I think it was some scottish program...Remember the nice accent

I took some pictures of the Volvo's at the Classic Car Show that I went to, just for zenon. I hope u like em, I didn't take many, as Volvos don't really interest me.

The movie is somewhat similar to "Requiem for a Dream", but very different too in other ways ... a must tho .... if only for that sweet Volvo
