You really are on the wrong side of the world friend images/smilies/lol.gif. This is my old truck (in all it's bright sunlight + crappy phone camera glory):

They really are endearing, somehow images/smilies/tongue.gif. I'd trade my Celica in a heartbeat to have my old truck back. What I really want now is a 3/4-1 ton 4x4 model (totally indestructible images/smilies/vampire.gif ), or maybe a K5 Blazer. They practically grow on trees where I live.

So you are 35 now. 5-10 years on you want a Porsche 911. Have you ever heard of the phrase 'mid life crisis'? Don't get a Porsche. Thats my advice.

But I would definitely have the S5. In black. With all the bells and whistles. Lovely looking thing.

A Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II

Buying one would most likely be a terrible idea, but you can get one for $10K USD...

I may be only 15 but I still know the difference between cool and uncool on the road. Porsche isn't. There are too many of them.

P.S. I'm not just sucking up to you, but I do like the 944.

I can't possibly know how do you define cool for yourself, but try turning up at any big trackday and see the ratio of Porsches to any other sportscar. The fact alone that soooo many Porsche buyers are not just posers with big pockets, but are getting everything they can from their cars, is pretty cool in my book.
I could live with a silent jealous hate of the next-lane neighbour as long as I'm in a GT3 images/smilies/smile.gif

Meh, that falls in line with my "beginning-of life-" and I'm sure to follow "end-of life-" and "anything in-between-" crisis. images/smilies/tongue.gif
Besides, I'm a 35 year old guy in an STI, I'm sure I already look like a douche.
But none of that matters (at least not to me) when you're driving it (and if you've given up on caring what others think about you like I have). images/smilies/smile.gif

When I was 15, I thought the Dodge Ram was the coolest car ever.

Now I realise the err of my ways. In 5-10 years, you'll realise how wrong you are too.

I thinking of this 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB:

A front-engined V12 beast which is essentially a "classic" 599 GTB.

I really like these new retro-style concepts. I wish they'd put the Efijy into production.

Also, I'm thinking about the Audi Nero. This thing looks amazing.

Considering I have little Ford GT's all around my room it's a no brainer. images/smilies/tongue.gif I've been pretty into the new CTS and upcoming Camaro recently. Even more down-to-earth: my bike. I miss riding it soooooo much. Lousy winter weather. images/smilies/dry.gif
