You click on the pin symbol and then you can copy and paste the coordinates from the window that pops up. Make sure the location is in the middle of the screen.

The text at the bottom of my screen in Google Earth is all scrambled, so there's obviously something very wrong there. I'm thinking a reinstall is in order. The pin suggestion still works though.

The only one I'm really interested in is the former FIAT factory in Lingotto, as made famous by The Italian Job:

+45° 1' 57.00", +7° 39' 52.00"

I know, I know, it's not a factory anymore, it's some shopping center. Still, at the time it was the world's biggest car factory, and the idea of a test track on the roof is just awesome.

A family friend I know (who won a yellow VW Beetle on Teen Jeopardy once and promptly crashed it) has an internship there. And he doesn't even like cars.

Is there a way to stick this topic on the top, so it won't get lost and new coordinates can always be updated?

You can also Google "lat/long conversion" and convert the address of a US factory to lat/long format... you know, if you're weird like me. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Elfin Sports Cars

37°59'31.72"S, 145° 6'27.67"E - Streamliner MS8, Clubman MS8, Clubman T5 (soon)

Not the greatest looking cars (although I don't mind the look of the new T5), but they are beautifully made and finished and considerably cheaper than a Caterham. The UK dealer is in Chipping Norton!

Speaking of Caterham, their factory is here:

51°27'38.36"N, 0°11'33.94"E
