Default Your favourite country of origin for cars?

Seeing as this thead was unpopular, maybe due to the fact it was too much of a broad question:

I could never understand the whole "soul" thing. I've come to the conclusion that "soul" means the people who say it are just trying to justify an inferior car (read: heap of shit from a reliability stand point) is some how better BECAUSE you never quite know if you'll make it to your destination without having to pay a tow truck driver or a road side mechanic.

British cars have character and soul. Something that largely seems to be missing from other cars.

Koenigsegg and Volvo are pushing me towards Scandinavia oddly enough. Though I'm not very fond of Saab. Germany, Britain and Italy make interesting cars, but as a whole I don't know if I would vote for one of them.

I love French cars for their madness and quirkiness, but I never place that much emphasis on where a car was made, rather on the car's merits.

Despite my Italian roots, I'd have to go with U.S.A. or Germany, probably a tie.

I've loved Porsches, BMWs and old American muscle for as long as I could look at cars.
