1. A practical daily, the type of car you could take into the city, park easily and not care if it got scratched or bumped.

2. A car capable of towing and has some off road capability. I don't mean hardcore off roading but capable of doing your gravel road stuff.

3. Must have a wagon for carrying things.

4. A car that could cover long distances very comfortably (i.e a limo, although not necessarily a limousine as such)

1. 1986 Celica GTS. I like this car, peppy around town, good suspension, but a 3SGTE wouldn't be a bad upgrade. Definitely not nice enough to worry about either.

4. Distance car? 1987 Buick GNX. Seems like a good road trip car to me images/smilies/lol.gif.

5. The new Noble with the 650hp turbo'd Volvo V8 sounds completely terrifying, and that's as good a measure of a supercar as any.

6. I need a muscle car, and lighter is always better. Hot Rods to Hell Inc built this '72 Nova, and it's just about exactly what I'd want.

Here's mine.

Sensible Daily Driver: Acura TSX
Honda's legendary reliability, great handling, FWD for the snow, decent on gas and stocked with all the creature comfort. Also, doesn't make you look like a dick (BMW), a snob (Mercedes), a wannabe (Audi) or an old fart (Lexus). images/smilies/tongue.gif
http://www.calculateme.com/car-pictures/acura-tsx.jpg

Supercar: Ferrari 599 Fiorano (GTB)
I've always loved Ferraris. I've always dreamed of owning one. I'm more into GT than into track, so I'll pass up the F430 and F430 Scuderia in favor of Ferrrari's 2-door GT car.
http://www.caradisiac.com/media/images/le_mag/mag268/ferrari-599-gtb-2big.jpg

4x4 / Offroad: Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, Rubicon Edition
I dont get why anyone wants luxury vehicles like Land Rover here. Going out in the bush is all about connecting with nature - so why do it inside a thick cocoon? I'd rather be able to do it with the roof off, and I don't have a boat to tow anyway:
http://www.ajeepthing.com/images/2007-jeep-wrangler-4drs.jpg

Classic: 1979 Pontiac Trans Am with Smokey and the Bandit trim
I love this movie, I think I've watched it at least 50 times. I've always wanted to restore one of these but never had the guts since all I can do is change oil, brakes and other very basic stuff... Is 1979 too early to be classic? Not for me it ain't, I was born in 1980!
http://classicautotags.com/images/burt_on_bandit_car_300_size_i1yx.jpg

Wagon: Volvo XC70
When I hear Wagon, I think Volvo. The XC70 is a terrific wagon in almost all conditions, and it has that quality Swedish feel to it unlike some of Volvo's low-end offerings.
http://www.auto-tuning-news.com/image/blogs/20.08.06/Volvo-XC70-2.jpg

Track Toy: Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Cheap, tons of performance and will make an honest driver out of anyone not paying attention. Also, with the performance of the distant cousin the C6.R, you know this thing has terrific track potential.
http://images.businessweek.com/ss/06/01/vintage_cars/image/corvette_2006.jpg

Drop-top Cruiser: Mustang GT-H Convertible
Great performance, hairy-chested cornering, but a fantastic boulevardier. A throwback to when American carmakers weren't afraid to be bold and brash. Also, the GT-H is rarer than the Shelby GT 500 to which it is related (which obviously increases its cool factor).
http://www.ridestory.com/files/Mustang_GTH_Convertible.jpg

Light, agile roadster: Mazda Miata MX-5
For me, no collection is complete without a light, agile roadster. I love the MX-5 precisely because it is so focused on delivering a terrific driving experience without power - forcing you to enjoy its best attributes (handling) if you want to enjoy it at all. Chick car? For some. You still need balls to drive it properly though!
http://www.automotoportal.com/media/images/vijesti/060914007.jpg

Pick-up Truck: Saleen S331
No need to use a pick-up to haul your dragster to the strip. Just bring this thing! Based on the excellent F-150, but with insane boosts to power, how can you hate the ultimate hoon pick-up? Not only will it clean up any "spilled rice" Honda Preludes, you can STILL use it to help you friends move.
http://www.pickuptruck.com/IMAGES/autoshows/naias2006/saleen/S3311.jpg

Minivan: Toyota Sienna AWD
It's only fitting that the most boring type of vehicle on EARTH is best made by the most boring car company on Earth.
http://www.hispanianews.com/archive/2004/07/08/toyota-sienna.jpg

Not a bad choice... but go for the 3rd gen XC70. The second gen had a tendency to fall apart since it rode on the Ford/Volvo P2 (Ford D3) platform. My patents had a 2002 XC70... not a good story. The new ones run on the P24 (Ford EUCD - Euro C/D) platform, which should be better because Ford is using it for its Euro line (which generally is better than Ford's US offerings)
