Uh-oh, I guess because this ONE Z06 caught fire, they all will! I guess they should have bought something else, because most non-American supercars are infallible!

Well, to tell you the truth this isn't the first time I've heard of a car being set on fire after an exhaust install. Where my parents life, a Midas shop burned down because a car had a fuel leak which they didn't know about. I think the dealer will be giving him a free car at this point.

Safety tips:

If you have a tire or brake on fire - DO NOT STOP MOVING! Truckers face this problem all the time and they are trained to keep the rig moving so the heat is drafted away from any other combustables - eventually it will run out of fuel and burn itself out. If you stop the fire spreads very quickly.

If the fire is in the engine bay, don't lift the hood all the way, this allow the fire to draw air from under the car and exhaust gases and smoke out the open hood. Keeping the hood down is like putting an inverted glass over a candle. If you must fight the fire, attack it through the grill if you can, if not open the hood just enough to insert the hose from the extinguisher.

I'm not trying to prove anything.

Just the American quality, which is not as good as Italian's.

Corvette first had the flying roof issue, and now this. And I can't really blame the exhausts as the guy has mentioned.
