Ultimate "Sleeper": 215 MPH Alfa 164

why? :? Because its quicker than anything else and European?

Because anyone that you pulled up to in that thing would have their ass handed to them and they'd have no clue why they just got their ass kicked by a car that should be on a lift at the local Alfa repair specialists

A car with F1-performance but without the downforce to keep it on the ground would make for a very exciting, but unfortunately very short lived championship. All the drivers would be dead before seasons end!

Still compared to a Normal Alfa 164 V6, it should be easier to do the starter motor in that thing....

(has scars from doing this quite a few times.......)

Oh I see! He did this to make the car easier to work on rather than to go faster, the sign of a man truly in love with his car

/has a friend considering a RWD conversion on a Shelby Dodge CSX for ease of maintenance.

They so should bring this sort of thing back.

But then it'd be much more exciting than the F1 race itself...

I saw a fantastic sleeper at the weekend. Supercharged LS1 powered Granada. Ill try and dig out a pic...

I wonder how hard it would be to do this to a 159. I mean, you'd have to procure the F1 donor car - no small feat - but the end result... hot damn.
