F1 Game #2 - Guess the car

Oh damn it. Your fault, since you posted it like that. Can't change it now.

EDIT: OK, I can score it, but it still puts you 7th and out of the points.

But anyway, the scoring system only counts the best 11 results, so if you do well later on, you'll discard it. It's as if it never existed.

Round scoreboard stays:

Peter3hg 7
THE REAL STIG 4
gti138 4 (question counted, since it was before the guess)
AnGuRuSO 3
Joc? 3
Gman333-x-Ferrari 2
Hazardous 2
Steve Levin 1

And the leaderboard:

1. gti138 (4-6-6-9-4-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x) - 29 pts
2. Joc? (2-9-4-0-2-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x)- 17 pts

And as the flag falls on the 2008 Formula 1 season...

The man with the green flag is behind this grid...

The red lights come on, one by one...

And they are away!

Was the car naturally aspirated?

Did Lewis Hamilton win a race in this car?

Was it driven by a French driver?

A rather late batch of answers, and the scores look like this:

gti138 2
Hazardous 2
Gman333-x-Ferrari 2
Joc? 2
AnGuRuSO 1

So far we know that this car:

had a normally-aspirated engine,
used wings,
carried some form of on-car advertising,
was driven by a Frenchman,
and was never driven by the 2008 F1 World Champion.

Was it driven by Alain Prodst?

Did it use the Cosworth DFV motor?

Was the car flat bottomed?

Did it race in the '70s?

It's incredibly tight throughout the field...

gti138 3
Hazardous 3
Gman333-x-Ferrari 3
Joc? 3
AnGuRuSO 2
Necx0 2
THE REAL STIG 1

So far we know that this car:

had a Cosworth DFV engine,
used wings,
carried some form of on-car advertising,
was driven by a Frenchman, but not by Alain Prost,
was never driven by the 2008 F1 World Champion,
was not British,
did not race in the 1970s,
was not flat-bottomed,
and never raced with slick tires.

I think that it is the 1969 Matra Ford MS80 driven by Jackie Stewart but more importantly given the clues by Jean-Pierre Beltoise.

Had wings but didn't race in the 70's therefore must be from 1968 or 1969. Not British which rules out Lotus and ran a DFV which rules out Ferrari.
