Slightly(!) dubious about some of tracks - but there's some pearls in there.

Waste of money IMO. They should see our Australian Music Appreciation thread for some proper Aussie songs....

This CD still has way better music than what appears on the show itself

Given the sound track to the series has been less than inspiring so far, I'm afraid I don't share the anticipation of the OP.

Then again the soundtrack for the series is mainly generic.

I could imagine it now:

Buy the soundtrack from Top Gear Australia, chock full of generic songs. Like generic rap song *generic rap song plays* or generic country song *generic country song plays*. Now $24.95 at JB Hi Fi, Dymocks and all stores that sell Top Gear merchandise.
