Is Zimbabwe's money worth less than Monopoly money?

At least you don't have to worry about getting robbed there...

Baddie: *points gun* "Give me your wallet!"
Victim: *pulls suitcases worth of money* "here, take them all..."

yeah, but now, zimbabwe is the country with the largest number of billionaires, and you thought silicon valley was something ...

So it's actually cheaper to use real currency there than buy the additional monopoly money packs from Toys R Us?

Edit : Would like to point out that I'm 18 now and no longer shop in Toys R Us, but sometimes I am tempted!

Feh. Two years ago I went into a Toys R' Us and bought an entire ninja outfit (which I was bursting out of) and paraded around in it for a whole day throwing plastic ninja stars at people.

So what else can we find that's worth more?

How about Pasta.

p00098.jpg

Lets say there are 500 pieces of pasta in this bag (it's a 500g bag, so 1g a piece is fair). the bag costs ?2.75. that's... 0.55p per shape. and that is Z$18,534,973.

So one piece of that pasta is worth Z$18,534,973. :lmao:

imagine those 1 dollar bills, put some "expensive" scotch tape on it, and presto-changeo, cheapest toilet paper
Didn't you read the sign?

They've just released a $100 trillion note, worth (currently) about $300 US. The scary thing is it will only be worth about $7 next week.

Crazy. With my head for maths (none) I'd be getting ripped off left right and centre. How many 0's in a billion again??

I hope Zim gets the leader it deserves soon. Very sad.

I reaaaaaaally want to buy a few bundles of Zimbabwe currency just to play monopoly with. :p

I'm serious!!

Well, in the US it's:
100 =Hundred
1,000 = Thousand
1,000,000 = Million
1,000,000,000 = Billion
1,000,000,000,000 = Trillion
1,000,000,000,000,000 = quadrillion
1,000,000,000,000,000,000 = quintillion
1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 = sextillion
1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 = septillion

I think in the rest of the word, a billion is a thousand million, and then a trillion is a billion. Not quite sure on that, though...

The inflation rate is now at 6.5 quindecillion novemdecillion percent [citation]

Wow, that number's so big I don't even know what it is.

Who else is in to order brief cases of money? I so want to take it to a party and pay people with it while they are all drunk. Then when they realize their money is worth literaly nothing what they would do.

Wow, that number's so big I don't even know what it is.

(shrunk to prevent possible h-scroll breaking)
6,500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

What kind of number is that? Hoy many grains of sand are on all the beaches of the world? 7.5 billion billion. 7,500,000,000,000,000,000

How many stars are there in the entire universe? Most likely at least 750,000,000,000,000,000,000

How many atoms are in a human being? About 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

An elephant?

A blue whale? Well, let's say a human is 160 lbs, and a blue whale is 200 tons.
200 tons x 2,000lbs = 400,000 lbs.

160...................................................................400,000
7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 = .............. ?

If every atom in a blue whale's body was one Zimbabwean dollar, you could buy it for Z$17,500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

That Z$17,500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 would be worth...how much in US (keeping in mind that the huge number at the top is the inflation percentage, not the exchange rate?
