Awesome Thread

That was it? They need more levels. Too easy. But still the most awesome thing ever.

Intro video to old-ass Playstation game Demolition Racer, with Fear Factory. I used to watch this all the time as a kid before I played the game, which might explain why I'm so messed in the head.

1.6 Million people? Holly shit! How is that possible? A tenth of Moscow's population are serious rockers, apparently. :|
Metallica isn't as liked these days, though, is it?

Yes yes, that was good. But Metallica was pretty much the opening act for the greatest band ever to have lived. The headliner from that 1991 Moscow gig:

All that aside, it was a phenomenal day in the history of rock music. And here is a 70 minute long video of the event titled "For Those About To Rock" !

A must see for anyone even a little bit interested in rock and heavy metal.

Um no?

None of the bands I've ever seen live have worn their own shirts at their concert... but then again, none of the bands I listen to even come close to the pretentiousness of Metallica. :p

I've seen hundreds of live shows and many bands wear their own T-shirts.. Mostly because they get them for free..
But you are correct in that most bands don't come close to Metallicas pretentiousness.. :p

Maybe except Slayer...
