2001 Version 7 swapped Impreza RS
What's going on guys, my name's Josh and I own a 2001 RS converted to a Version 7 money pit. A little history about my ride:

I bought her in 2003 with 33k on the clock. Gradually, through the years, I've converted it from this:

I live in Sunderland, Massachusetts, USA so if any of you are around the UMass Amherst area, you might see me around.

I often try to think of what Jeremy Clarkson would say if he drove my car. He'd probably tell me it was rubbish and to return it to the Toys-R-Us (or british equivalent) where I bought it.

It's good to be on final gear, I'm a huge Top Gear fan, so it works.

Excellent to see that it gets driven where it's supposed to. Cracking car, welcome aboard, gravel roads are fantastic, aren't they ;)

For sure, although I'll probably never be able to drive like you Finns. :sigh:

You have hope for a sense of humor though :p

Great car dude I'm jealous (in a good way) always loved this gen RS

The A4's are nice too. I've always said that in a another life I would probably have become an audi fanboy. As long as I have AWD and turbo.

That car is extremely awesome.

Great to have another Impreza owner on the board; there are many of us here!

Nice cheese grater.
I like, I like.

Thanks, I think. Why cheese grater?

Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention. She's dynoed at 306/276 WHP/TQ. Future plans are probably a new FP turbo, like the HT68, and a front mount or custom fabbed canted mount IC.

If you're at WBM in '10 I will be sure to check out your car.

Btw, I'm extremely jealous of your V7 EJ207.

Good looking impreza! Great to see that you actually drive the thing, must be a joy to trash it around some gravel roads. I'd surely enjoy :D

Love that color too. And yeah, welcome aboard.

Yeah I didn't make it this year because I was broke from having to buy a new transmission (I'm on my third<_<)

The version 7 engine is great, revs all the way to 8000, but what's more, those big port heads actually let it make power up there. They're positively gigantic compared to the USDM ones.
