Some guy who played it in Hong Kong said:
AND... the Nurburgring is comepletely revamped. From what i could tell it looks a lot more accruate than in previous versions. The track width and length feels correct, and they even changed the weather. John told me that TURN 10 paid a visit to Nurburgring and they worked hard on this track. They felt that the weather in europe is quite often cloudy and rainy, so the bright sunny one in FM2 doesn't seem right. The Nurburgring in FM3 looks a lot like PGR4 in cloudy weather setting, but it's a lot more difficult to drive, as the track is no more smooth, it's quite bumpy. I had quite some trouble when i went around it with a beautiful Aston Martin DBR9 (YES the DBRs are in the game)

This is good news.

^ Different weather settings would have been even better, but I guess overcast suits Germany. Miserable Germans with their all black interiors and precision. <_<

Oh, and the long Amalfi stage is actually 12 not 19 kilometers which was a typo on the original press release. So not quite as epic, but still rather high on the scale of awesome potential.

I'm simply astonished at how much more impressive it is, compared to FM2, and how short of a span between them. I don't see how its possible.

hmmm... is it just me? or is there something really wrong with the graphics? Yeah it looks really smooth and crisp, but it's to shiny or glossy as if the cars were laminated and seem to pop out of the scenery unlike in GT5 or even NFS Shift where everything looks alright?

Don't get me wrong. I love Forza esp. Forza 2, I'm just waiting for this game to come out as well, but this graphics thing is kinda bugging me. The interior is kinda off too i think? lacking texture or something i can't really put my finger on

I've noticed the exact same problem. Some of the screenshots look amazing. The CCX one looked like it was a picture taken in real life. However some of the others are way off. If there are any graphics/game programmers here, it looks like the shaders in those screenshots consist of nothing more than Phong lighting. The low res textures in the Dino picture are also really getting to me.

It just seems so inconsistent with some of the other screenshots, I really hope that those ones are from an old build that they just didn't bother to release until now.

The temptation to buy a 360 grows every time I look at this thread... :lol:

The best part about the older Ferrari's is that they don't even have to model working gauges! Although the 2-3 gear shift not working until the car is properly warmed may be a bit wonky :mrgreen:
