Random Thoughts....

Just had a thought: do you guys understand my avatar? Or is it a stupid pun.

Let's see

Do not L bracket?

No...

Alphabetical letters that are 2 lines perpendicular to each other are not permitted here?

Nope that doesn't sound right either

:hmm:

No....L.....NOL..... GNOLL!

Ha I'm a genius

Yes I got it the first time he changed it... No L = Noel. Thought of Animaniacs right away.

Of course, what I first thought was an aggressive pronounciation of "Hell no!"

It's easy to park big vehicles. Look around and don't hit anything. :p
I think it's a combination of:
1. Baylor kids can't park, so even if there's enough room for a tank, part of someone else's car is probably in that space.
2. I'm a Baylor kid and therefore, I can't park. I want my smaller car back, dang it!

Is it something to do with "No?l"? As in how they say Christmas in other languages?

EDIT: Just watched Katwalk's video. How did I forget about that Christmas carol? :idiot:

I didn't until I saw the video, but I was born without the critical 'clue' portion of my brain. Every time I see Animaniacs though, I'm ultra impressed with the writing. I can't imagine being that clever. I love that show. <adds Animaniacs boxed set to list of things i want when I have money>

Working on a couple of things, going to turn in some late coursework. Sitting in the corner of the mac class, staring at the screen is made a lot more bearable by having my Last.fm Personal Library radio station playing.

I'm confused - do people know it from the Animaniacs video or from the original carol? It's just that everyone seems to associate it with Animaniacs in their posts. I've never seen that video before, but I knew the carol it was based on, so either way I have no excuse. :(

Sorry if I'm treating people like idiots, I'm just wondering since I only found out about the carol a few weeks ago.

Well Wacko makes a point of drawing it out for you in the cartoon.

Animaniacs conundrum of the day: How is it that, of 3 siblings, only Yacko, the smallest Warner, has a British accent?

Well if there's a little age difference between them it could be that they moved to england before he was 13 ish... this is generally thought to be the time when your dialect is established.

Or he could have gone to a school with just english children. or something as we get our dialect from our peers.

Damnit, I had something I wanted to write in here but laughing at spectres aunts gifts made me forget.

Well I'm glad people understand my avatar, I was worried it was stupid. Also, I can't watch Kat's video right now (my boss doesn't appreciate me watching YouTube) but I didn't get the idea from animaniacs. It was actually on the back of our holiday shirts at an outdoor store I worked at in high school.

Anybody know of a UK video game shop with free/cheap delivery rates? And are Valve games from the UK playable over here?

Amazon? :p

The main specialised gaming retailers are GAME (game.co.uk), HMV and GameStation (owned by game).

Thing is, though, Amazon will almost certainly be cheaper.

Can't help you with your "Valve games work over here?" question though.

New version of the avvy!! Thanks to LP!! :D
