Honestly I don't see the difference, but then I'm not so much of a GTR-nerd either.

The aerodynamic kit is called ?Wet Carbon?. The full program includes a new front bumper, front grill cover, front lip spoiler, front under diffuser, side ducts, side skirts, rear underspoiler, rear racing diffuser, rear wing and rear fender extensions (20mm extension). All parts are made of carbon. Price? For 1,680,000 yen, ?12,750 or $18500 it is yours! The following parts are available as an extra; dry carbon front fender finishers (67,200 yen), dry carbon front fender ducts (61,950 yen) and dry carbon door handle surrounds (47,250 yen).

To pricy? There is a second kit available with only a few parts in it. The Front Style kit retails at the 630,000 yen (?4750 or $6900) mark and includes the front bumper, front grill cover, front lip spoiler, front under diffuser and the side ducts.

Next to the aerodynamics there are some technical differences with respect to the vehicle, such as a titanium exhaust system, Endless MONO6 & 6R Caliper brake kit with 390mm rotors and Quantum Super Sports suspension kit. The exhaust switches owner for 348,600 yen (?2630 or $3800), the brake kit for 1,837,000 yen (?13840 or $20000) and you can get the suspension kit for 630,000 yen (?4750 or $6900).
It's cheap too!

Apart from the hideous wheels, it looks pretty good and the aggressive wide-body stance makes it look kinda like the Mercedes SL65 AMG Black.

This is what the GT-R always should have looked like for the price.
It now has that menacing pugnaciousness like the R34 once again, instead of the clean-lined econobox look.

Good on you, TK.

Whoever has rights to the Rambler name (probably Chrysler) should sue.

Oh snoez!

Sue everyone who has ever used a stylized R! Evvvveeerryyyoonnne!!!!

Anyway, I think it looks cool, even if I only know about Tommykaira due to Gran Turismo

Nothing wrong with that. Gran Turismo played a huge part in the US getting cars like the Impreza WRX, Lancer Evo, and the GT-R. I had never even heard of a Skyline until that game came out.

Not to mention the exposure Aston Martin and TVR got from being in the first one.
