I'm a bit better now.The thing is, I had cats before, and dogs, but this was my firs real pet. My dad isn't a cat person, and this is the first cat that could get in the house. And he lived in my living room, slept with me, he would come running when I came from work. You know how it is. I don't think I'll be getting a new cat for a while, maybe a long while. Yes, my mom is planing on getting two of them, but they are meant to 'be outside and hunt mice'.
I have some pics of Tino from sunday, I'll post later. :)

I can't imagine how much it must hurt. All animals I've ever had lived to a ripe old age and weren't taken away so cruelly. My mum still remembers the day when her beloved cat, Timmy, got hit and killed by a car when she was seven, the trauma of it stuck with her and she can remember pretty much everything she did that day back in the mid 1960's. :blink:

This seems to be an exception. I mean, the dog's got a 'Fro!

Here's my little monster, Kevin.


He ran into my apartment one morning, and I wasn't able to get rid of him; so I kept him. I swear, he has Multiple Personality Disorder. One minute he can be all loving, crawling up and around your shoulder. Then instantly, he's attacking you for, near as I can tell, absolutely no reason at all.

What do you mean "no reason at all?" He's a cat. That's reason enough! He's a cutie.

Yes, this seems to be a common attribute of kittens. Mine thinks it's great fun to attack my feet when I'm getting dressed in the morning.

Mine did that even when he wasn't a kitten anymore. He just want's to play, but sometimes they can be to rough. But meh, didn't bother me. :)

And he is a cutie, clegko :)

I burried my Tino today. The ground was very frozen but I felt he deserved it.

and on the topic of dying pets, I see at least one dead cat on the road every day. It's horrible this time of year.

cats do come when you call them by their name...

Cats are often smart enough to figure out how to unlock and open doors, too. Haven't seen many dogs do that.

A clear case of a cat choosing its human if I've ever seen one.

Desi has the same disorder. I think it's just a kitty thing. Also, forget trying to put on a belt or tie a shoe or even move a long-sleeved shirt if she's in the room. ATTACK!

Yea, he was so lovable. Just looking for somewhere to snug next to me.
Loved to be cuddled, I think he lived for it :)

And he was on the large side...about 10 months old, 12 pounds! I used him as a blanket :D

Man, I'm gonna miss that silly creature :)

For some reason one day she came into my mum's office and instead of sitting on the other side of the room which is clear, picked her way across all the files on the floor and slept on them. Silly girl.
