What a performance by the Germans. I'm a little concerned for Spain should they meet in the semis. And so much for the South America teams....

Same thing as four years ago, four European teams with Italy, France, Germany, Portugal. Only plucky Uruguay managed to break into the European Championship World Cup semi finals.

We've been watching the games at work and even from Germany's second game I've been saying they're going to win the whole thing which has been drawing strange looks from my coworkers. But from the looks of it my crazy prediction might just be true.
