Spot Them Beater Cars

Wow. Probably runs a Nigeria flag at the helm. Home port: Lagos. :D

I think the beaters thread is correct for these two:

Just casually hangin' there.

I did a trip to Paris, and of course it was full of slightly damaged family cars, but among them was this poor mk1 Lotus Elise:

And this is how you fix broken wing mirror of the Ferrari 360 Spider. Otherwise the car was fine.

That Elise looks loved. and by loved I mean driven correctly.

This! It looks like a car that actually gets driven, not like some showroom queen!

I totally agree that cars should be driven like they're ment to be, but obviously the middle of the Paris is not the place to enjoy the driving capabilities of the Elise. And I wouldn't want to drive a car with that much easily fixable dents and scrachtes on the front. They're not signs of spirited driving in the countryside or on a track, but signs of use in Paris traffic.

If I, and mainly my back, could pull of daily driving of an elise in Paris, I would be 10 points cooler on the petrolhead scale. at least.

A late 80's Civic in it's prime (spotted right outside of our apartment building).

I had to be really fast and stealthy while taking this photo, there were some gypsies lurking around and I'm pretty sure this was their car.

Wow, that's rough. Makes the DSM I ogled look like a pristine example.
