That's as maybe, but the majority are tolerant as Quiky said.

Hotpants however was a blatant pedo who contributed little and in the end endangered the Forums' existence.

In any case the relationship may not be healthy to some people but she is of age where he lives. *shrugs* I do wonder how the relationship will go emotionally with plans for the future as both of them are in different stages of their lives.

Just to throw my 2 cents in here. I think you've nailed it, no pun intended.

Stage of life is the big thing here, not really the difference in age.

If one person was 20, and the other 10, everyone would be screaming for blood, so to speak. But if the same 'couple' were 40 and 50 years old, no one would see any issues with it.

In the first situation, one is a child, and one is an adult, both at very different stages in their lives. In the second, both are adults and have been around long enough to have basically the same life experience...or exposure to both.


I know it's a very simplistic example, but...just my opinion. :)
