So when I moved back to California from Colorado I had a decision to make. Keep my most fun car ever and pay out the ass for California gas and a 100 mile round trip commute everyday, or trade it in for something more economical. Well the sad decision was made to trade in the STi. I wanted a KIA Forte Koup and spent months looking for one, but not only were they hard to find they were harder to find in trim that I wanted. When i finally found one the bastard car salemen apparently didnt want to make a sale so I left and went over to mitsubishi. I lied and told them I wanted an EVO X and seeing my STi they believed it. I took one out for a spin and fell in love, but of course, if I bought it it would defeat the purpose of ditching the STi. So anyway I did some shopping and ended up with an 09 GTS. Ive had it for nearly a year now and I gotta say its a great little car. Doesnt get the best fuel economy for its class, but it sure as hell is better than the soobie.

Its got all the works. Sat Nav, 30gb hard drive for music, big rockford fosgate subwoofer and sound system, blue tooth, paddle shifters (My first automatic), auto headlights, auto windshield wipers, keyless entry and ignition, auto climate control, traction control that can be turned off, power sunroof, dvd player, satellite radio, etc...

This screen can change to show other things like how many miles till empty, engine temp, and mileage. It will also change to alert you of things like slippery road conditions or a flat tire.

I always thought the Lancers were good values for the money if you don't get the Ralliart. Tons of pretty high-end features.

Yea I really wasnt expecting all the car had to offer for the price when I got there. I got the car with 18k miles on it for 19 grand. KIA wanted like 25 grand for their fully loaded Koup which didnt even have all the awesome features my car has

Yea, I tried to buy before leaving Colorado, but couldnt find what I wanted. Everything costs more here. I wanted the stick, but they didnt have any and I couldnt go another few weeks of having to spend 80 bucks every other day on gas just to go to work in the STi. Autos always cost more as well.

Exactly. My cousin got his (an auto) with satnav and Rockford Fosgate for $20k brand new.
 
The deal here wasnt so much about the car only being 19 from a dealership (Who always charge more than private sellers). The big deal was they gave me 18 grand for my STi. That was a deal I couldnt pass up. All the other places I shopped at said theyd only give me 12 or 13 at best for it.
 
Exactly, especially when you consider it had over 80k miles on it

Apologies. I feel like such a n00b for not reading the rules first. Though if I were going to lie about having a car Id probably think of something a bit more exciting. Ill take one when the sun is out.
