It's been a long ass day and I'm feelin random.

What are the best smells.... in the world :clarkson: for you?

For me:

  1. Coffee beans
  2. Monsoon rains
  3. Sauteeing onions
  4. Brand new dollar bills
  5. Barbeque or roasting meat... yes, even though I'm a vegetarian, I actually like the smell of smoked/cooked meat
  6. Brand new electronics
 
Bacon
New tires
Napalm(only in the morning)
Cinnamon rolls
 
Freshly Baked Bread.
Most of the perfumes I own. (An' I own a shitload of perfumes.) But in particular me fave, Jean Paul Gaultier "Classique."
New Car Smell.
Certain Flowers. Lily of the Valley, Night Scented Stocks, Freesia. I forget.
Old Books.
Just washed clothes.
Cake being baked. Curry being cooked. :)
WD40.
Petrol/Diesel.
Joop! (Leg opening man fragrance. Well it is to me.)

An' for a laugh. Me bloke when he reeks of oil, petrol, sweat an' other car gunk so he smells like he's actually done some work the bum. :lol:

Frying onions. I don't eat onions but the smell is awesome.

I second the coffee/bacon/fresh baked bread/pies/baked goods and add:
Diesel exhaust - I actually like the smell, probably because it reminds me of riding in my Dad's tractor-trailer truck and driving our diesel tractors as a boy.

Hickory smoking meat on the grill.

My cat. (Don't be filthy, guys.) She will nuzzle into my neck sometimes and I can smell her fur. Amazing how a creature that never bathes can smell so good.

EDIT: To the above list I would like to add the Chicken Makhani I am about to tuck into.

We have a Jasmine plant at home. I can stand there and smell it for an hour when it's in bloom. I love it.
