leaving to a car show tomorrow and need to get my sensor at least a little bit cleaner

I dont have time to order anything online, so Im wondering if a nylon brush for CVS(or wtf ever else) will do me ok, just for now?

if the dust isn't sticky and there is not too much of it, these help:

at least they did on the last two occasion that a lonely dust particle has managed to evade the dust filter on my olympus. ;)

lol.... those are cutips.

Use a Q-tip to push on a glasses cleaning cloth?

^Still most likely to leave more dust than it takes.

Sensor Swabs + Eclipse fluid do the trick for me, you can probably get them at most local camera shops. Read up on the CopperHill cleaning method and have at 'er.

results for dry q-tip. took me about 3 tries to get it to that

guess which is before/after. ;)

could it be better? sure
did I expect it to be better? no
am I happy? HELL YES

am I gonna bother tryin to get it better? neva

...and Im not even going to the show anymore

hm, i think in that case a proper clean would have been due, but its a massive improvement indeed. although some of it seems to have been sweeped to the right edge...
as i said, i only use cutips for the odd speck that evades the olympus' filter, not for a full sensor clean. and for that job they work great. ;)
