please help! LCD screen

Hi!

I just turned on my 17 inch Sony LCD screen and this is wha ti got!
Please help!!!

I assume he means the flair in the top right corner.

It is the flair!

Any ideas?!

Warranty? Bad smell? Trying to get it out with soft touches, do something high contrast like completly black and white pics in succession.. Any magnetic fields around?

None of that helps -> sorry, game over. Well, it probably is anyway, I was just blabbering to give you some hope...

I fiddled around with the Phase and Pitch settings but didn't help.
I guess I'll be calling Sony tomorrow.
