Hi again..Welcome back... Below are the entries for the september exercise. there were only 5 entries this time and very few participated as school/college/uni have started while others have their jobs. But these
lads found some time and have done these chops.

Please take your time to look at the entries and vote for the best chop u think should win.

Please also add some opinions/mistakes/improvements in this topic.

For me, I had a hard time selecting between Blayde and Speedtouch...both chops were good.
 
I voted Blayde, because he managed to keep the original styling of the car and make it look sportier. Plus he's the only one who bothered to change the background :p
 
lol thanks m8... i guess lopping the roof several inches paid off...

My top two picks were between THGL and Teletubby-Warrior, cos unlike them, the other two didnt quite get the hang of the shadows and a few angles look really off (no flame intended, i tell it like it is). I liked West's creativity, and with a bit more practice, he can get some great chops in, and i liked Sppedtouch's aggressiveness, and boldness with the effects. I liked THGL's cos he got it aggressively plain and simple, and TW's cos he managed to get some more Italian styling into the thing... :D I voted...
 
Blayde, you got my vote. I think the lower front facia is absolutely seemless.
Our chopped roofs are surprisingly similar.
 
My chop would look much better in actual size, cos i can see from this pic, that my grille work and a few more subtleties arent that noticeable, and i did notice you roofline was trimmed, nice job too, you did get my vote...
 
racheel, where do u get the original pics? do they come from the previous winner or what?
 
I think the winner decides what car to pick, and Raheel posts the new exercise for it...

btw 'racheel'? c isnt even near h on the keyboard :lol:

Thanks, that's what I was shooting for. I like to make them look like a real car you might actually see on the street (aside from the chopped roof).
 
The five days are almost up and it is clear that Blayde has won the competition. So I would ask him to send a picture which should be used as next months chops.

Respects to all the other participants as the quality of the chops was very good.
 
Yay, i won, thanks for all who voted for me, THGL did quite well too.

I hope the next exercise sees more participants(hansvonaxion, etc), these chops were great, but we need more people to take part, for the fun of it...

Raheel i PM'd you for next exercise, i thoguht 4x4 at first, but then a yuck expression came across my face.. so i stuck with coupe
