It doesn't look like a dinosaur at all.
I agree. They totally missed the mark on this one
It doesn't look like a dinosaur at all.
Ferrari today shot down rumors that it was readying a new model positioned below the $170,000 F430 coupe. Speaking at a press conference today at the Los Angeles auto show, General Manager Amedeo Felisa directly addressed recent rumors in the automotive press about a new Dino.
He said the company has absolutely no plans for a "cheap" Ferrari. Felisa made it clear the company would continue to compete in its current markets, with no plans for high-volume or modestly-priced sports cars.
So why would the Dino have larger fenders then a F430? It makes no sense. My guess is that article is full of crap and what they are really testing there is a 430 challenge stradale.
And no, you won't be seeing an I6 from Ferrari anytime soon.
I gather you found my post in the other thread...i find it funny how a few days after ferrari announces at the LA autoshow that there is no plans for a "cheap" ferrari, Winding Road mag releases their new issue with the cover story about the 2010 Dino-420, that'll use the 4.2L V8 sitting in every maser atm, and not 2 compete with the F430, ferrari is gonna put a 5.0L V10 with 550hp in it. they say that the spy shots are eithr for that V10 engine or the new dino
Ahehe
Look at the second pic in the winding road article and then look at this..

For me the classic Dino is the best looking car of all time.
I gather you found my post in the other thread...
btw; I don't understand why if Winding Road is reporting this "Dino" will be front engine, why they have photoshopped rear intake ducts on the fenders?
